Human: Fall Flat is a quirky platform game that has you control a wobbly character who must work their way through a variety of different puzzles.

Over the last few years, physics-based video games have exploded in popularity, and that unique genre is now filled to the brim with entertaining titles. If you are a fan of this genre, then you might want to take a closer look at Human: Fall Flat. In this game, you are going to take control of a wobbly and elastic character who must figure out a variety of puzzles in different worlds. While Human: Fall Flat does have some distinct drawbacks, its unique challenges are sure to keep you entertained for hours.

The first thing that you are going to notice when you start this game is the overtly silly protagonist. The untextured character can be customized in the menu, but his default appearance is a neutral blob with arms and legs. As the character walks around the gameworld, all of the character's limbs are going to interact with anything that they come into contact with. In addition to controlling the character’s walking, you are also going to have full control over both of their hands. When it comes time to move blocks or climb up ledges, you will need to press multiple buttons at once to carry out those movements.

The levels themselves are relatively bland, but that only adds to the charm of the game. Each individual world has unique themes ranging from medieval castles to islands that are floating in the sky. When you first arrive at a new world, you must spend a little bit of time familiarizing yourself with all of the nearby objects and tools. After a little bit of time, you should have a general idea of what must be done to complete the puzzle.

One of the best features of this game is just how creative the puzzles are. The game designers obviously took inspiration from a wide variety of platform and puzzle games, and no two challenges are identical. In one the levels, you will need to slowly make your way to a floating cage that drops you into a ravine. Another might force you to swing across a series of trapeze so that you can break through a window on the edge of the map. When you have finally figured a puzzle out, you jump off the map and arrive in your new world.

Even though this game is fairly unique and has some interesting worlds to explore, there are a few drawbacks as well. The biggest problem that most players are going to have with this game is the unpredictable movements. As the arms and legs flail about, you might find yourself continuously falling over or bumping into nearby objects. The arms will sometimes automatically connect to ledges and blocks, but the controls are still going to be very frustrating at points. Luckily, even with all of those drawbacks, this is still a very entertaining physics-based platformer that perfectly blends humor and challenging gameplay.
